BROW COLOR & INTENSITY

Creating your color: We can select from a small range of colors close to your natural brow color. Fairer skin tones will need to work with lighter color.

Intensity: Intensity is how MUCH of the color we put in the skin. We can create a light intensity or medium intensity. We only recommend a bold intensity for clients who have naturally dense/dark brows.

We prefer a natural technique and do not attempt to create a bold makeup brow effect.

FRESH VS. HEALED

Fresh work will look bold and vibrant. Once healed, it will soften and light up to 50%.

There are times where it will lighten more than 50% and this is typically do to poor aftercare or not enough pigment in the skin.

FUTURE MAINTENANCE

  • Brows will fade and shift tones over the years. We recommend touch ups between 2-5 years.

  • Hairstrokes will all eventually blur over many years and will need to switch to shading (Ombre)

  • As a returning client, your touch up pricing will be 50% of the going rate!

WHITE  HAIR MAINTENANCE

  • Since ink sits under the skin, unfortunately those pesky whites will still be visible.

  • The darker the color ink, the more contrast there will be which makes these hairs more noticeable.

  • We recommend tinting to minimize the appearance of whites. You can do this at home (recommended product in the link below) or come in for us to tint them for you!

DURING THE APPOINTMENT

  • Brows will be shaped depending on your natural brow shape, bone structure and personal preference. Not all personal preferences can be accommodated!

  • We do not pre-numb the brows. We will use numbing after initial layer. This creates the best skin condition for tattooing and comfort for you.

  • You will receive aftercare instructions before your appointment.

  • We will schedule your follow up appointment at the end of your procedure.

HISTORY OF COLD SORES

The biggest side effect of Lip Blush is a cold sore outbreak. If you have a history of cold sores, we require you get an anti-viral from your PCP before your procedure.

Anti-virals will not compleltey eliminate the risk of a cold sore outbreak, but will greatly reduce your chances.

If you have never had a cold sore, there is still a small possibility that you are still able to get a cold sore outbreak.

PRE-CARE

  • Pre-care for lips is extremely important because dry lips do not take color well. Please review the pre-care prior to  booking!

DURING THE APPOINTMENT

  • Lip shape is based on natural lip shape. We cannot go outside of the natural curvature and border of lips.

  • Lips will be pre-numbed and will continuously receive numbing throughout the procedure.

  • You will receive aftercare instructions before your appointment.

  • We will schedule your follow up appointment at the end of your procedure.
