WHAT TO AVOID

​

  • Working out (5 days)

  • Long exposure to steam (sauna, hot showers, hot tubs and facials)

  • Direct sunlight (14 days)

  • Makeup around the brows (ex. foundation or powders - 5 days)

  • Makeup ON the brows (10 days)

  • Facials or massages (14 days)

  • Strong chemicals near the brows (14 days)

THE HEALING PROCESS

LIPS

D A Y  1

​

  • Blot lips with damp cotton round for first 3 hours after the procedure

  • After first 4 hours, begin applying a thin layer of Aquaphor to lips to keep moisturized

  • Apply very thin layer every 2 - 3 hours

​

D A Y  2 - 5

​

  • Apply ointment every 2 - 3 hours to keep lips moisturized

​

​

WHAT TO AVOID (first 5 days)

​

  • Salty, spicy or acidic foods

  • Drinking directly from a cup (use straw)

  • Picking or pulling lip skin

  • Kissing or mouth activities

  • Swimming

  • Tanning (2 weeks)​

  • Long exposure to steam (sauna, hot showers, hot tubs and facials)

EYELINER

D A Y  1

​

  • Rinse eyelids 4-6 hours after procedure with water.

  • Using wet fingertips, gently rub back and forth across your lash line to gently dissolve any crusting.

  • Pat dry

  • No ointment

  • Sleep slightly elevated to reduce overnight swelling.

D A Y  2 - 5

​

  • Rinse eyelids morning and night, pat dry.

  • No ointment

​

​

WHAT TO AVOID

​

  • Makeup around eyes (7 days)

  • Facials (7 days)

  • Lash serums

 

REMOVAL

REMOVAL

 

FIRST 48

​

  • Please allow to FULLY DRY;  Do not wet or sweat (if you do, you can wipe with a saline wound care wipe to gently remove excess oils)

​

  • Do not use any other products during this healing process

​

  • Avoid touching or excessive movement of the area

​

 

 AFTER 48 HOURS

​

  • IF We have provided you Cavilon: You may now apply the cream to the area ON and slightly around

​

  • This should last 3-4 days. You can get the area a little wet when washing. AVOID rubbing. After any wetting, gently hold a clean tissue on the scab to dry it out

​

  • Scabs should last 5-14 days and allowed to come off naturally. At no time should you pick off attached scabs For eyebrows, if scabs are attached just by hair, you can gently help remove them

AFTER SCABS HAVE FALLEN OFF
 

  • You can resume the normal use of makeup

​

  • No excessive sun or exfoliating

​

  • Skin prone to Hyper-pigmentation may need to use more of the Cavilon Cream. Once scabs have fallen off, shea butter or another rich oil may be used to keep skin from drying
